About Conference

PIC International Conference invites academics, young researchers,  PhD students ‎as well as practitioners from different countries to discuss current issues in the area of social science. The conference will follow interdisciplinary approach focusing mainly on the topics of education, e-learning, law, bussines, economy, social inclusion as well as sustainable development.

Organizers of ‎the conferences are Pegaso International Malta and UNESCO Chair in Bioethics, European Center for Bioethics and Quality of Life.

Conference Aims

2019 PIC International Conference in Malta aims to encourage discussion and knowledge sharing on the topic of Social Inclusion, Education and Digital Society,‎ tackling the challenges of multicultural societies from the aspects of education, economy, and coexistence, especially in EuroMed region. The motivation behind the conference aims is based on the assumption that digital technologies may act as a relevant enabler of better quality of life as well as economic prosperity.

Notification of acceptance: within 10 days after submission

Payment of the registration fee: after registration or acceptance of the abstract but before the conference dates. Only online payment is possible.

Registration for participants without presentation: 15.10.2019

Registration Fees

250 EUR – Participants with presentation

180 EUR – PhD students with presentation

160 EUR – Participants without presentation, accompanying persons

Registered participants will receive information regarding the payment procedure by e-mail.

The registration fee can be paid online.

Publishing Opportunities

Conference Booklet, in which all the events and all the authors will be listed, will be published by PIPress in e-version on the day of the conference.

Only abstracts will be published in the Conference Proceedings. It will be published by PIPress in e-version on the day of the conference.

Authors should register and submit the abstract in the conference submission system (click Register or Submit button).

The length of the abstract should be between 800 and 1.000 characters. The content of the abstract has to be structured in paragraphs including theoretical background, aim of the study, research methods, and central findings with implications.

The conference proceedings will be published online under the terms of the Creative Commons CC BY-NC 4.0 License (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0/ ) and will be freely and permanently accessible online immediately upon publication.

Authors of the best abstracts that fit in with the sponsored journals will be invited after the conference to develop the full paper and submit it until January 31, 2020. The journals will do the double-blind review following their own rules. Here is the list of the sponsored journals:
